Niigata Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that five people living in Sanjo City and Tsubame City are infected with the new coronavirus.
Two new infections were confirmed in Niigata City on the 19th, and a total of seven infections were announced on the 19th.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the prefecture to 435.
