Mohammed bin Rashid on the International Day of the Arabic Language: We need more initiatives than lectures

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, affirmed the continuation of work to protect the language of Dhad, indicating in conjunction with the International Day for the Arabic Language, which falls on December 18, that protecting the language requires more initiatives than lectures.


His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said in a tweet on «Twitter» today: «Work continues to protect our language .. We need initiatives more than lectures».

His Highness attached the tweet with a video clip, highlighting that the Arabic language is an authentic, solid identity, and a bridge linking us to our roots and history.

The video also highlights the "Madrasa" platform, one of the initiatives of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation.

The platform completed the Dhad Language Lessons Project, which succeeded a year after its appearance in launching 1000 videos to teach the Arabic language, attracting more than 27 million views.
