On the night of the 18th, one house was burnt down in Tsuruga City, Fukui Prefecture, and two people were found dead in the burnt remains.


Police are investigating the cause of the fire while confirming the identities of the 90-year-old mother and 67-year-old son who lived in the house.

After 7:00 pm on the 18th, the fire department was notified that a house was on fire in Heiwa-cho, Tsuruga City, Fukui Prefecture.



The fire was extinguished in a little over an hour, but a two-story wooden house was burned down and two people were found dead in the burnt remains.



According to police, Takako Okumura (90) and her son Masaaki (67) live in this house, and they have lost contact after the fire.



Police are investigating the cause of the fire while confirming their identities, assuming that they were the two who died.



The site is an area where houses and restaurants are lined up.
