As of 24:00 on December 17, Henan has reported a total of 1,273 local confirmed cases, including 22 deaths and 1,251 discharged cases.
A total of 23 imported confirmed cases have been reported, 16 have been discharged, and 7 are being treated in designated hospitals.
Since January 21, Henan has traced a total of 40,612 close contacts, and 8 people are currently under medical observation.
As of 24:00 on December 17, 16 cases of asymptomatic infection were under medical observation (all imported from abroad).
