On December 16, the centralized public destruction of infringing and counterfeit articles in Hebei Province was held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei.
On that day, Hebei Province concentratedly destroyed more than 300 tons of counterfeit and shoddy goods.
Since the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia, Hebei Province has strengthened quality and safety supervision over the production, sales and export of epidemic prevention materials, and carried out special rectification actions, effectively curbing infringement and counterfeiting, avoiding international trade product quality disputes, and ensuring the continuous stability of market order.
In 2020, the public security organs of Hebei Province cracked 1,596 criminal cases of infringement and counterfeiting, arrested 2,996 criminal suspects, and destroyed 148 criminal gangs, involving more than RMB 1.6 billion.
