On December 16th, at the Datong Wetland Shoal of Huainan City, Anhui Province, more than 100 pairs of wild mandarin ducks splashed in the reeds and shrubs to warm themselves.

In the sun, mandarin ducks flutter their wings and hit the water, or fly, and the scene is cheerful.

Wild mandarin ducks are the second-class protected animals in China. They appear in pairs and are known as "love birds."
