The avian flu epidemic continues in France.
This Wednesday, a sixth farm was affected by the H5N8 virus.
Once again, this is a landes farm.
It is the fourth in the department where the presence of avian influenza is detected within a few days.
Still in the same area, near Saint-Geours-de-Maremne.
Veterinary services are on site, reports

.
Nearly 3,500 ducks and 700 hens will be slaughtered in the coming hours.
For the moment, it is impossible to know if there is a link between these different cases.
Two other farms were affected by bird flu in Deux-Sèvres and Vendée, while cases in the natural environment are also increasing, especially in Brittany.
