A new highway bus service began on the 16th to improve access to Haneda Airport from the Toranomon area in Minato-ku, Tokyo, which is undergoing large-scale redevelopment.

The service started on the Keisei Bus and the highway bus operated by Airport Transport Service, which connects "Toranomon Hills Business Tower" and Haneda Airport in a minimum of 30 minutes.

On the morning of the 16th, a bouquet was handed to the driver at the bus terminal on the first floor of the business tower, and the first bus departed for Haneda Airport at 8:20 am.

Since the bus is expected to be used mainly for business, a total of 9 round trips will be operated from 8 am to 4 pm.

In the Toranomon area, construction of office buildings and high-rise apartments by redevelopment is occurring one after another, and in June, "Toranomon Hills Station" on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line was newly opened, and the population increased from October. The BRT = Bus Rapid Transit System, which connects to the coastal area, has begun to operate in some areas.

Takayuki Matsudo, Deputy General Manager of Keisei Bus Sales Department, said, "Toranomon is an area that is developing more and more, so we would like to capture demand mainly from business customers, including Kasumigaseki in the neighborhood."
