A resident of Tours (Indre-et-Loire) obtained justice, Monday, December 7, the withdrawal of a Linky meter installed at her home.
In September 2018, this Tourangelle and her companion had requested an electricity supply subscription, says
La Nouvelle République
.
The couple then received a technician a few days later and at the end of October, a letter from EDF informed them that a Linky meter had been installed.
Supporting medical certificates
Surprised, the couple had initiated proceedings against this lack of information.
As the regional daily explains, Tourangelle also suffers from electrosensitivity and thyroid disease.
His condition would have worsened after the installation of the Linky and medical certificates attest to it.
A summary hearing was held on September 29.
The court recognized that the analyzes did not make it possible to establish "with certainty a direct link" between the installation of the meter and the deterioration in the complainant's state of health.
On the other hand, the analyzes show a reinforcement of the health risk.
The court therefore requested the removal of the meter and its replacement by a conventional device.
The order is subject to appeal, says
La Nouvelle République
