How should young people trapped in online loans "go ashore"

Recently, on a well-known Internet platform, a group called the "Debt Alliance" gathered many young people.

Most of them are burdened with debts that are not low compared to their incomes, and they live on loans.

When sharing his debt experience, a Mr. Liang said that he had probably used seven or eight online loan platforms at most, and owed 130,000 yuan in almost six months.

More and more debts are pressing on Mr. Liang like a big rock, finally forcing him to leave the city where he has worked hard for many years and give up his original life, until the debt is paid off in nearly two years.

This experience gave him a painful comprehension, and finally realized that he should not borrow easily and do not spend ahead.

There are many people like Mr. Liang in reality.

According to the 2019 "Report on the Debt Status of Young Chinese Consumers", among young Chinese, the penetration rate of overall credit products has reached 86.6%, and the real debt group accounts for approximately 44.5% of the overall young people.

In other words, nearly half of young people are spending "tomorrow's money" more or less, and are or have become "negatives".

In July of this year, a girl in her 20s was sentenced to life imprisonment in the first instance for killing her mother.

And behind the mother-killing is the shadow of online lending.

According to her confession, she did this because she was unable to repay an online loan of more than 100,000 yuan, wanted to commit suicide, and worried that her mother could not bear it when she died, so she killed her mother.

Although it cannot be determined that the above-mentioned absurd and cruel actions are all due to online loans, online loans are indeed a very important incentive for this case.

Perhaps you can attribute the problem to girls’ poor self-control, poor tolerance, etc., but this can’t conceal the fact that some online lending platforms take advantage of human weakness.

With low thresholds, fast payment, and large amounts, many people find it difficult to resist the temptation of online loans.

If you have "planted grass" for a long time, some "good-hearted people" tell you that you can get a quota of as little as a few thousand yuan or tens of thousands of yuan every minute with your ID card and mobile phone number, and there are even installments. Interest-free rights, I believe many people will immediately fall into the "happiness" of "I can be so close to my dream".

As everyone knows, this "happiness" also has a price.

The Austrian writer Zweig once said: “All gifts given by fate have already been priced secretly.” Online loans are not gifts of fate, but prices are also marked on the back. Suddenly one day you will find that the loan has exceeded the repayment. Ability, so "removing the east wall to make up the west wall", and finally the "holes" were not filled, and the borrowing finally showed a hideous side, which made people panic all day long.

I once dreamed of living a "life that is not going to end", but in the end I realized that not only did I not "live the way I want", but ended up in a feather.

However, it is unfair to say that online lending platforms are useless.

For many people with strong self-management ability, if there is no online lending platform, they may really not be able to borrow money to tide over the crisis in a crisis.

Therefore, whether online lending is a temporary tool to alleviate urgent needs, or to bury one's own abyss, the key lies in how to use it restrained.

In addition, relevant departments should not turn a blind eye to online lending platforms with "deep routines", such as restricting promotion, requiring them to indicate risks and dangers, and not allowing the platform to present or magnify its useful and beautiful aspects.

I did not open those popular online lending platforms. Compared with the people around me, I looked a little bit old-fashioned, but whenever I heard them yelling "It’s time for repayment", I was a little grateful that I didn’t have to be too busy with calculation .

Although facing things I like, I sometimes feel itchy, but in the end I told myself to wait.

I believe that "there is no free lunch in the world". The days of "consumption first and then repayment" can be exchanged for a moment, but "the borrowed one must be repaid after all", and it is not the original one.

Nowadays, more and more people in the "Debt Alliance" group have experienced some torture and pain. They have learned to exercise restraint and understand the need to consume rationally and cultivate a correct outlook on consumption.

They try to "go ashore" from the quagmire of insolvency, what about you?

Faced with so many "learning from the past", perhaps it is time to stop from the crazy "buy, buy and buy" road and think about whether to continue.
