There was a cold wave that was sorely in the past few days, and today (16th) the cold reached its peak.
Currently, the temperature in Seoseok-myeon, Hongcheon, is -23.9 degrees Celsius, the coldest in the country, and many regions in the central region are below -15 degrees Celsius.
The temperature in Seoul is also 11 degrees below zero, the lowest since this winter.
Some of the cold weather warnings in Central, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk inland will continue today.
Snow clouds continue to form on the west coast and islands, but there has already been a lot of snow over 40cm on Ulleungdo.
In the future, additional snow of up to 15 cm in the mountains of Jeju and Ulleungdo, and 2-7 cm in the west coast of Honam and Jeju.
The sub-zero cold in most regions will continue during today's daytime, and from tomorrow the cold will be somewhat mitigated, but on Saturday it will be shiny again.
