  Huang Zongying was born in Beijing on July 13, 1925. In 1941, he became a popular "Sweet Sister" in old Shanghai by starring in his first drama "Sweet Sister". He is also a member of the "Three Heroes of Huang Family" in the entertainment industry.

Since then, "Sweet Sister" has become synonymous with Huang Zongying.

  In 1946, Huang Zongying entered the film world with his first film "Chasing".

In the following year, she put her thoughts and feelings about studying to act as the title of "Holding the Window", which was serialized in "Wen Wei Po".

Huang Zongying, who was in his early 20s, started a cross-border career in stage, film and literature.

After 1965, Huang Zongying specialized in literary creation, and authored literary works such as "Little Wooden House", "No Clouds in the Sky", "Special Girl", "Beautiful Eyes" and "Big Wild Goose Love".

  Compared to acting, Huang Zongying said that she prefers writing. She has won the National Award for Excellent Reportage for three consecutive times.

In 2019, Huang Zongying won the Lifetime Achievement Award of the 7th Shanghai Literature and Art Awards.
