At the exit to the interchange on the Kita Kanto Expressway in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture, on the early morning of the 13th, a passenger car collided with a guardrail, killing two of the four women on board and injuring two others.

Around 4 am on the 13th, an ordinary passenger car collided with a guardrail at a fork at the exit to the westbound Isesaki interchange on the Kita Kanto Expressway in Isesaki city.

According to police, four women in the car were taken to the hospital in this accident, but Kiryu, who was also driving behind the passenger seat with Masako Mita (64) from Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, was driving. Kiyomi Okabe (56) of the city died by hitting her whole body hard, and the remaining two women were also injured and treated.



The four are friends, and the injured woman says, "I was on my way to Mt. Fuji for sightseeing."



The police are investigating the cause of the accident by examining the scene.



The Kita Kanto Expressway was closed to the west between the Ota Yabutsuka Interchange and the Isesaki Interchange, but it was lifted at 11:10 am.
