Seeing the magnitude and seriousness of his actions but, above all, the tremendous damage caused (and surely to be caused) to the country and the Constitution that he swore to serve, it is understandable to wonder what the King Emeritus was thinking when he decided to make each year a brilliant and successful performance of his reign in a depth charge destined to demolish his own legacy, shake and destabilize the monarchical institution and expose his son Felipe and his granddaughters to a disgrace that only he competes.
