Yesterday (the 13th), snowy snow fell so much that photos of snowmen were uploaded here and there, and this morning the strongest cold wave came this winter.

The sensational temperature in the central region, including Seoul, has dropped to around -15 degrees Celsius. I will connect a weather caster in Yeouido, Seoul to see how cold it is and how long it continues to be cold.

Caster Ahn Soo-jin, how cold is it now?

<Caster> Because

I came out outdoors, today the strongest cold is right.

No matter how cold the temperature is, the less wind it blows, the less cold it is.

Today, the cold wind with a strong chill blows rapidly, so even if I try to stay still, it is so cold that I can shake.

Today, you should pay special attention to the insulation of gloves and a scarf.

If you look at the current temperature in detail, the temperature at Hyangnobong has dropped to -19.5 degrees, and Seoul is starting from -9.4 degrees and Jecheon-do from -9.6 degrees.

Because of the wind here, the perceived temperature is lower.

Seoul plummeted to 13.5 degrees below zero and 30 degrees below zero in the mountains of Gangwon.

Cold wave warnings were issued in the mountainous areas of Gangwon and northeastern Gyeongbuk, and warnings were issued in northern Gyeonggi and Gangwon, including Seoul, and some Chungbuk and Gyeongbuk.

Currently, snow continues to fall in some Honam regions such as Gwangju and Jangseong.

Heavy snow warnings have been issued on Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and heavy snow warnings are in effect in some Honam areas including Gwangju and Jeju.

Until the day after tomorrow, there will be as much as 30cm of snowfall on the west coast of Honam, the mountains of Jeju, Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and up to 10cm of snow will fall on the west coast of southern Chungnam.

Today's daytime temperature is 4 degrees below zero in Seoul and 1 degrees below zero in Daejeon.

Tomorrow morning, the cold will be similar or colder than today, and the strong cold will continue until Thursday.
