[Explanation] At 10 o'clock in the morning on December 13, the Shanghai Songhu Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall and 20 anti-Japanese war memorial halls across the country simultaneously held the National Memorial Day for the victims of the Nanjing Massacre.

With the majestic national anthem ceremony started, representatives from all walks of life laid a wreath in front of the Monument to the Unknown Hero, and then the audience stood in silence.

On the same day, in the Shanghai Songhu Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, many students stopped to visit with the "Extreme Hardship-Shanghai Anti-Japanese War and World Anti-Fascist War Theme Exhibition" which showed the historical facts of the Shanghai people's 14-year war of resistance.

The exhibition is based on the spirit of the Shanghai people’s war of resistance, starting from the "early center of the national salvation movement, the place where the Japanese invaders fascist brutality was hit hard, the military strategic location for the war against Japan, the important base for the whole nation’s war of resistance, the birthplace of the war of resistance culture, the international The bridges and bonds of mutual assistance and the final victory of the Anti-Japanese War" 7 parts reproduce the prosperous years of the Anti-Japanese War in Shanghai. What is displayed here is the "Hundred People Killing" killing knives. It was a killing contest held by two Japanese military officers, Toshiaki Mukai and Takeshi Noda, on their way to attack Nanjing from Shanghai. The first to kill 100 Chinese was to win. .

This was the butcher knife they used at the time. It was the evidence presented in the Nanjing trial and was donated to our museum by Shi Meiyu's descendants.

[Explanation] At the same time, the exhibition introduces leading exhibition methods and techniques such as immersive 4D experience, light and shadow art installations, theme-changing sculptures, and construction of situational spaces, and highlights frequently appear, allowing the audience to interact with the profound historical "dialog".

I feel that after seeing the exhibition just now, I have a deeper understanding of this past history. I have seen the Chinese people's journey of resistance step by step and felt their hardships at that time.

I saw a picture of Shanghai in the last exhibition, with the handprints of various city builders and heroes of the War of Resistance against Japan at that time. I think our current happy life stems from their unremitting efforts at that time, and we should cherish it. In life now, don't forget history and cherish the present.

There are many exhibition halls and high-tech tools in the Songhu Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, which together show us this sad history.

As middle school students, we must become the pillars of the country, and I firmly believe that the strong young people make the country strong.
