It's been 20 years since the murder of four people in a house in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo.

On the 12th, an investigator from the Metropolitan Police Department called for information near the scene, saying, "I want you to remember that time again."

Mikio Miyazawa (44 at the time), wife Yasuko (41 at the time), Niina-chan (8 at the time), the eldest daughter and second grader, and the eldest son at the house in Kamisoshigaya, Setagaya-ku, 2000. It was found that four people, Rei-kun (6 at the time), were killed.

The Metropolitan Police Department has sent a total of 280,000 investigators and dispatched personnel overseas.

Approximately 13,600 cases of information such as suspicious persons have been received, but the suspect has not been identified and remains unsolved, and it will soon be 20 years.

On the 12th, about 40 people, including investigators from the Seijo Police Station, where the investigation headquarters are located, handed out leaflets with the characteristics of the criminal at the nearby Seijo Gakuenmae Station and called for information.

A 48-year-old man who received the leaflet said, "I think it's been 20 years now. It's a very sad case, and I want the criminal to self-confess and resolve it as soon as possible."

Takao Yoshioka, chief of the Seijo Police Station, said, "I think there are things I can say now, so please send me any trivial information."

On the other hand, the housing at the scene of the incident is aging and the evidence of the internal situation has been completed, so the Metropolitan Police Department has asked the bereaved family to demolish it and discussions are continuing.

A 44-year-old man who often comes to the park with his children said, "I think it's best not to demolish the case until it's resolved so that you don't forget it."

A 65-year-old man who visited for a walk said, "I have a pain in my chest every day. I don't know if it's okay to leave it as it is."

Information about the incident is accepted at the investigation headquarters of the Metropolitan Police Department and Seijo Police Station.

Niina-chan's dream is a ballerina

The teacher of the ballet class that Ina-chan (8), who died at that time, was also hoping to resolve the case.

Fujie Maeda, who runs a ballet class in Setagaya Ward, has been teaching ballet since Niina was 3 years old.

Niina-chan was talking to her people about her dream of becoming a ballerina in the future and wearing her own costumes to dance.

Mr. Maeda said, "When I first put on my shoes for the first time in ballet, my legs hurt, but Niina-chan was still happy. I heard that she said" yes "because her personality was very straightforward. I enjoyed practicing. "

Also, the last time I met was at the end of the year, shortly before the incident, so when I said, "Don't catch a cold. See you next year. Have a good year." It means that I still clearly remember how I returned to good health.

Mr. Maeda was so shocked that his student died due to the incident, and has been unable to participate in memorial events for the past 20 years.

When I passed near the scene, I remembered the incident and felt pain in my chest, so he said, "It was really shocking to have sacrificed such a cute little child, and I just have to pray for a solution."
