[Explanation] December 9th coincides with the October 25th of the Tibetan calendar. In 1419, the October 25th of the Tibetan calendar is the day when Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, passed away, so people are on this day. Set up a "Lighting Day" to commemorate him.

People offered lamps to pray to express their admiration and remembrance of Tsongkhapa.

On the eve of the "Lighting Day", devout believers and tourists who come here especially walked to the streets of Lhasa, passing along Barkhor Street to pray for blessings or take photos.

On "Lighting Day", when night fell, the monks and believers lit up several butter lamps on the windowsills of the temples and at homes, lighting the lights like stars, lighting up the most beautiful night in the snowy plateau.

Since October 15th, Tibet has continued the third round of the "Winter Travel to Tibet" policy. While enjoying the beauty of winter, tourists will encounter traditional Tibetan activities such as "Fairy Festival" and "Lighting Day" and experience a different winter in Tibet.

(Lighting Day) has special characteristics, national characteristics, and then more spectacular.

Tibet, the scenery is different in each season, and I don’t see enough, but I personally prefer Tibet in winter.

Because it’s so beautiful, it’s also because there has been a “Winter Tour to Tibet” activity in the past two or three years. Anyway, the various policies are better, and then it’s better in winter, and then there are fewer tourists, which is especially great.

[Explanation] The "Lighting Day" visit and worship activity is coming to an end, everyone still reluctant to leave, and took out their mobile phones to record the sacred and unforgettable night, and some people prayed that the epidemic would end soon.
