The timing of delivery of vaccines against the coronavirus will "not" be impacted by the cyberattack of which the European Medicines Agency (EMA) suffered for two weeks, assured its director on Thursday.

“We have been the target of a cyberattack for the past two weeks,” said agency executive director Emer Cooke.

"I can assure you that this will not impact the deadlines for vaccine delivery and we are fully operational," she added.
