The defendant Yan XX committed the crime of intentional homicide and was sentenced to life imprisonment and deprived of political rights for life.
On the morning of July 24, 1995, a vicious criminal case occurred in the Wujiaohua store in Chongren County. The defendant Yan Moumou and his co-convicts Huang Moumou, Gan Moumou, and Zhang Moumou (all of whom have been sentenced) killed the victim with knives and guns Zhang.
The defendant Yan Moumou fled to Huizhou City, Guangdong Province after committing the crime, and was later arrested in July 2020.

After Yan's relatives compensated the victim's relatives for economic losses of 620,000 yuan, Yan's relatives received the forgiveness of the victim's relatives and signed the "Recognition of Guilt and Punishment" voluntarily.

Before the trial, Lai Caiming, President of the Intermediate People's Court of Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, and other members of the collegiate panel carefully reviewed the case files, discussed and studied the case, and formulated a detailed trial outline.

The defendant, Yan, had no objection to the facts of the crime charged in the indictment and pleaded guilty and repented in court.

The defendant Yan Moumou said in court that he accepted the sentence and did not appeal.
