Sadness fell over the Lebanese artistic community, for the death of the composer and producer Jean Saliba, the day before yesterday, as a result of his infection with the emerging Corona virus.

And the singer Elissa wrote, on her Twitter account: “My heart is burned, burned, burned.

My companion in Derby and my friend Jan Saliba left Haldani in the most sad way, with disease threatening humanity, and we are not able to do anything.

And she continued: «There is nothing worse than this news.

What was it after you had energy, life and wit ... May God have mercy on you, my friend. ”

While the star Nancy Ajram tweeted: “Bakir Kotir Jan left us a cross. May God have mercy on you and be your soul in name, I broke our hearts against you. May God be patient with your family, your family and all your loved ones to leave you.”

As for Haifa Wehbe, she said: "May God have mercy on you, Jan Saliba and patronize your family with a very sad news!"

A number of Lebanese and Arab singers also mourned him, including: Diana Karazon, Walid Tawfiq, Zain Al-Omar, Hisham Al-Hajj, Amer Zayan and Fadi Harb, as well as composer Tariq Abu Jouda.

The deceased was hospitalized last November, before his wife, Maya Saliba, announced, in a television interview, that his condition had deteriorated, and she asked all his fans and friends to pray for him for recovery.
