The Kenya coalition in Saxony-Anhalt threatens to break up in the vote on the radio license fee.

The question of whether the contribution should be increased or not is a perfect gap, because the function of public service broadcasting is increasingly difficult to convey in the digital media landscape.

Proponents of contribution-financed broadcasting are opposed to those who campaign for a fundamental reform or who at least want to focus the broadcasters' mission.

And then there are those who would like to get rid of public service broadcasting entirely, if they could.
