“Fazaa Al-Yula”: a renewed championship and open competition

Yesterday, the finals of the 21st edition of the Fazza Ulya Championship and the 16th edition of the Maidan program began, in a renewed fashion and open competition between the 16 finalists of the qualifiers held last month, where the first four participants made a distinguished performance on the competition stage in the Global Village in Dubai, with Competitors sought to crown the Fazza Gold Cup.

The first episode of the tournament met with great interaction and anticipation, in view of the changes in the tournament system, which currently include five challenges in which the participant gets a percentage of his mark out of the general total, by holding a literary and cultural competition in which poetry is recited, and it receives 10% of the total mark. The final, and a heritage sport competition for direct shooting on the field, by using a "patented" air rifle to drop the dishes as quickly as possible by 20% of the final mark, and two indirect competitions outside the field that are related to heritage by 20% each, namely horse racing and camel racing, where The participants were trained by an elite group of horse stables trainers and moderators, and of course the fifth and main challenge, which is "Al-Yolla", on the Al-Maidan theater stage, for which the participant gets 30% of the 100% mark.

While the method of voting has been changed to be through the application of the field program and for free, but each person is allowed to vote for one contestant only once, provided that the largest weight in the evaluation from the jury is 50%.

The Al-Maidan program, in its 16th edition this season, which shows the Fazza Al-Yola championship, was broadcasted live on Sama Dubai and Radio Al-Oula.

Knights of the first episode

In the first episode, each of the competitors: Maktoum Manea Al Shamsi, Hamdan Farhan Al Ahbabi, Hamid Sultan Al Razi Al Shamsi and Rashid Saeed Al Mansouri.

Maktoum Mane` Al Shamsi, who has just turned 14, expressed his happiness to qualify for the finals of the current version, and he is the youngest participant this season, to fulfill a dream since his childhood of being in this great event, while Hamdan Farhan Al-Ahbabi (14 years old) indicated that the presence of new paragraphs In this version, it would stimulate the development of his abilities, including reciting poetry. As for Hamid Sultan Al-Razi Al Shamsi (17 years old), he said, “His friends motivated him to participate in this version, and his ambition, along with the brilliance in Al-Yawla, to highlight his archery skills, while seeking to raise His skills in horse racing, knowing that he was from the camel track since he was young. ”As for Rashid Saeed Al Mansouri (23 years old), he revealed that he participated in previous years and won the Fazza Golden Cup previously, a dream when it became a reality that he could not express his feeling, and it was in the season The past reached the golden square, and this time looking to repeat his first-place supremacy.

Reciting the poem "he did not repent"

The poetry competition began, with the participants reciting four verses from the poem “What He Has Repented” from the poems of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

The poet Muhammad bin Hammad Al-Kaabi, known as "The Poet of the Nation", supervised the poetry recitation competition and awarded grades to the participants.

In the poetry recitation competition, Hamid Al Shamsi and Rashid Al Mansoori got a full score of 10.

In the shooting competition, all of them succeeded in dropping all the dishes within less than a minute, and Rashid Al Mansoori came in first place, and Maktoum Al Shamsi came in second place, each of whom got 20 points.

In the Al-Yolla competition, Maktoum Manea Al-Shamsi won the 46th, Hamdan Farhan Al-Ahbabi achieved the 46th, Hamid Sultan Al-Razi Al-Shamsi, the Full Mark 50, and Rashid Saeed Al-Mansouri also achieved the full 50 score.

Participants will compete in the horse and camel competitions this week, and the identity of the finalists will be revealed in the next episode.

Odesian: The pompous palette
