[Explanation] The reporter learned from the Emergency Rescue Headquarters of Diaoshuidong Coal Mine Safety Accident in Yongchuan District, Chongqing on the 5th that at 17:00 on December 4, the Diaoshuidong Coal Mine, which was closed for more than two months in Yongchuan District, Chongqing, was dismantled by the company itself. In underground equipment, a carbon monoxide over-limit accident occurred and 24 people were trapped underground.

  At three o'clock in the morning on the 5th, the reporter saw at the mouth of the Diaoshuidong coal mine that a large pungent odor of white smoke was constantly emerging from the mouth of the mine. Mine rescuers were studying rescue plans, and there were dozens of others. Mine rescuers are on standby, ready to go down to rescue at any time.

  After the accident, the main leaders of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government rushed to the scene as soon as possible to organize the municipal and district public security, emergency, fire and other departments to carry out rescue work for trapped persons.
