Billie Eilish has ended the hopes of her fans who still hoped to see her on stage in the coming months.
The young artist has indeed announced that her world tour was canceled, and no longer postponed.
In an obviously moved post on Instagram Story, the interpreter of
Bad Guy
confided that it was, according to her, useless to continue to believe in it.
The uncertainty in which the music industry has remained immersed since the start of the coronavirus pandemic makes concerts impossible.
“I wish I could have seen you on stage this year, I miss playing for you and being on stage, so much, I can't even tell you how much.
But we tried a lot of different scenarios for the tour and none are possible.
I know a lot of you want to keep your VIP tickets and passes, but the best thing we can do right now is get your money back as soon as possible, ”the star posted.
Ready for the sequel
Billie Eilish was able to perform three concerts of her world tour before the pandemic brought the festivities to a halt.
The artist advised those who currently have their tickets to stay alert.
They should receive a message from the establishment (or site) where they purchased their seats for a refund, but also for the scheduling of new dates.
Good news, however: Billie Eilish seems to be about to put the finishing touches on a new album.
As she revealed in the
Vanity Fair
interview
, she and her brother have already written “16 songs” that she seems very proud of.
Optimism auspicious when we know to what extent his first opus,
When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
, was well received.
