On December 2, local time, after the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced the lifting of the "no-fly order" on Boeing 737MAX models, the 737MAX aircraft carried out the first flight with the exception of regulators and Boeing staff.

According to reports, the aircraft carrying out the maiden voyage belongs to American Airlines. The aircraft flew from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in Texas to the airline's maintenance center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It took about 45 minutes.

More than 90 media reporters tried the Boeing 737MAX.

  In October 2018 and March 2019, two Boeing 737MAX aircraft crashed in Indonesia and Ethiopia, which killed 346 people.

After two air crashes, the Boeing 737MAX was banned from flying around the world.

On November 18, 2020, the FAA announced the lifting of the "no-fly order" on Boeing 737MAX models.

American Airlines plans to resume commercial flights of the 737 MAX on December 29.
