Hugh Keays-Byrne, the face of two characters in the Mad Max franchise, has died at the age of 73, his friend director Brian Trenchard-Smith announced this Wednesday on Facebook as well as the official account of the film

“I am so sad to report that our friend Hugh Keays-Byrne died in hospital yesterday,” wrote Brian Trenchard-Smith.
