In the early morning of December 2nd, a handicraft factory in Xinyi, Maoming, Guangdong caught fire, and the fire blazed into the sky.
After receiving the alarm, the local fire rescue team immediately dispatched and rushed to the scene for emergency treatment.
Fire fighters arrived at the scene and found out after inquiry and investigation that the factory mainly produces bamboo handicrafts. The burning plant is a building made of iron sheets. There are production workshops and warehouses. The plant was on fire due to a large number of inflammable materials such as bamboo products. The fire spread quickly.
The fire at the scene was quite violent, accompanied by a lot of thick smoke.
Next to the burning plant was a residential building.
The fire commander immediately dispatched water cannons and mobile water cannons to suppress the fire and prevent its spread according to the situation at the scene. At the same time, they organized a search and rescue team to go deep into the fire site to conduct an emergency search. Fortunately, no one was trapped in the plant.
After nearly 6 hours of fighting, the remaining fire at the scene was completely extinguished.
The cause of the fire is still under further investigation.
