Did you miss the news from the start of the morning?

We have concocted a recap to help you see more clearly.

"No divorce between the police and its population", according to Darmanin

Heard Monday by the National Assembly's Law Commission, after a series of police violence, Gérald Darmanin was very clear in his observation: "I do not share the fact that there is a divorce between the police and his population ".

Logically, the Minister of the Interior has therefore reiterated his support for Didier Lallement.

The Paris police prefect even had the right to a strong tribute from his supervising minister: "he is a hard-working civil servant, who has never lied to me, who heads one of the most difficult posts in France ( …) And I have noticed since taking office that he is not failing in his duties ”.

In front of the deputies, Gérald Darmanin still took the opportunity to list the “seven deadly sins” which weigh on the police.

Kevin Escoffier rescued by Jean Le Cam in the Vendée Globe

Kevin Escoffier is safe and sound.

The Vendée Globe sailor spent hours on his liferaft, after reporting a major water leak on his boat, waiting for help.

It was the navigator Jean Le Cam who brought him assistance, after being diverted during the night from Monday to Tuesday.

Three other skippers left on Monday in search of Escoffier: Yannick Bestaven (Maître Coq), Boris Herrmann (Seaexplorer-Yacht Club de Monaco) and Sébastien Simon (Arkéa Paprec).

Cam was finally the first to reach the Escoffier distress beacon emission zone, two hours after the alert.

As you can see all is well on board #YesWeCam !!

Will the death of Fiona be clarified during the trial which opens on Tuesday?

Seven years after her disappearance, little Fiona's body has still not been found.

The appeal trial which opens this Tuesday before the Assize Court of the Rhône, may provide answers.

But the doubt is allowed because until then, the languages of the two main defendants have never really untied.

If not to accuse each other.

Cécile Bourgeon, the mother of the child, and her former companion Berkane Makhlouf will therefore again find themselves before the jury.

For the fourth time.
