Hidden in the bustling streets of Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong is a traditional photo studio born in 1937.

Despite several ups and downs, it has maintained operations for more than 80 years.

Before the rise of digital photography, Hong Kong’s traditional photo studios were once beautiful and prosperous.

This old-style photo studio originally called "Pointy Photography" changed its ownership in 1996. A photo studio buddy named Lin Guosheng took over this traditional photo studio from the second-generation owner, and the name of the shop was changed from "Pointy Photography". It became a "Shanmei Studio".

Lin Guosheng, the new owner of the studio, hopes that this studio can start and end well and retain the beautiful moments.
