On November 29th, the first ice and snow games for elementary and middle school students in Xinji City, Hebei Province opened in Xinde Middle School.
There is a winter Olympic knowledge exhibition area, project experience area and competition area on site.
It is understood that a total of about 600 teachers and students from schools in all districts of the city's education system participated in the competitions including land curling, roller skating, and figure skating.
The City’s Culture and Sports Bureau and the Education Bureau actively promote and popularize ice and snow sports among young people to provide a reserve force for preparing for the Winter Olympics, and at the same time drive more people to participate in ice and snow sports and enjoy the fun of winter sports.
