In the past week, China’s border town of Manzhouli was experiencing a “warm staying together” in the winter due to the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

Manzhouli, known as the "Window of East Asia", is adjacent to Russia and Mongolia.

Previously, this city had the "special experience" of the first confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the import of 77 confirmed cases from abroad.

On November 21, two local cases of new coronary pneumonia were confirmed in the city.

The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Health Commission has recently notified that as of 7:00 on November 28, there are currently 11 confirmed local cases, 2 suspected cases, and 1 asymptomatic infection. All of them have been isolated and treated in designated hospitals in Manzhouli City, and they have been reconciled and traced. Work is still in progress.

In just over 10 months, three consecutive epidemic attacks have made the people of this city extremely united, strong, and warm.

"This time I mainly do something to maintain order." Duan Shihu, a local citizen, said, "After the outbreak, you can't stay at home anymore, you must play your own value."

Regarding the purchase of two boxes of apples for medical staff every day after the last outbreak, Duan Shihu said: "It's nothing, everyone is very hard."

What makes people even more emotional is that a patient suffering from uremia will rush to the front line of epidemic prevention and control as long as he finishes routine dialysis from the hospital he sees in the past few days, and is willing to be a volunteer to carry materials and other tasks.

Under the epidemic, the heartwarming actions of the local government also made the people feel that "overcoming the epidemic is not a problem."

In the two consecutive local nucleic acid tests for the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Sun Yulong, a local business person, said: "After the test, my heart is completely calm."

Bao Yanbin, a local citizen, said in an interview with the media: "During the nucleic acid test, the medical staff and community office staff were very good, and they called in advance."

"With our unity, we will definitely be able to defeat the epidemic. Manzhouli, come on!" Bao Yanbin said.

"Whether you are in Manzhouli or on the way back, let us light up this city together, light up these familiar places that have warmed us." On the 27th, the local new media public account launched "You Me Relay, light up Manzhouli, cheer for Manchuria!" The initiative was praised by more than 100,000 netizens in a short time.

What makes netizens feel more cordial and warm is that on the more than 10 large-scale pictures displayed on the screen, just a light tap will light up the previously dark characteristic buildings.

Some netizens left a message saying: "Manzhouli is a beautiful small city with bright lights. All people are united to overcome the difficulties. After the epidemic, the beauty and style remain the same!"

I hope that winter will be well, and there will be flowers in the future.

On the 28th, Saturday in Manzhouli, although the local temperature was still around -13°C, everyone felt very warm inside.

"With everyone's full effort to fight the epidemic, I believe everything will be okay, because we have truly managed to stay warm." Sun Yulong said.
