In France, the first phase of very gradual deconfinement begins this Saturday, as President Emmanuel Macron announced Tuesday evening in his speech on television.

After almost four weeks of closure, “non-essential” businesses are reopening today.

Toy, ready-to-wear or leather goods stores, booksellers and hairdressers are now hoping that customers will be there nearly a month before the end of the year holidays.
