[Explanation] Recently, the installation of elevators in Golden Vienna Community, Xinghualing District, Taiyuan City is under construction. This project will be equipped with 8 elevators.

It is understood that the community has been built for more than 20 years, and there are many elderly people, some of whom live above 3 floors. It is difficult to get up and downstairs on weekdays.

  [Explanation] On November 25, the reporter came to the construction site of Golden Vienna Community. The excavator of the construction team was working and installed elevators to modify the waterway line for the community.

  The main floor is relatively high. Everyone's travel (difficulty) and the distance between the stairs is relatively large. It is not convenient for old people to go down the stairs. It is more difficult to travel. It is our spontaneous organization, and we want to install (install) an elevator.

  [Explanation] Previously, due to their lack of knowledge about the installation of elevators, many owners of this community had many concerns, and the spontaneous installation of elevators was pushed back and forth.

With the advancement of the renovation project of the old community, the person in charge of the elevator installation project answered the questions about the installation of elevators for the community owners one by one.

  Most of our projects are to install elevators on the north side of the building, so that the north side is scattered light, there is no direct light, this kind of light blocking problem will not occur, and that is to say we (elevators) The facade of the building is basically made of the selected glass curtain wall, which will also reduce the light blocking of the building.

For the noise problem, we basically choose elevators with no machine room. The noise level is very low. We have tested it and it is basically within 40 decibels.

  [Explanation] The owners' concerns are eliminated, and the installation of elevators can be promoted.

Wang Xiaohua said that the government invested 300,000 yuan in the installation of elevators, and the community owners invested a total of 175,000 yuan. Through the holding of hearings, the community owners themselves discussed financing methods.

  Now it is proportional. The ratio of the floors is less for the lower floors, and for the higher floors we increase proportionally, that is, the higher the higher is slightly more. So according to this (method), everyone pays the money uniformly.

  [Explanation] It is understood that Xinghualing District, Taiyuan City, as an old city, has 1072 old communities, of which 86% were built in the 1980s and 1990s.

Located in the old district of the district, Taoyuan No. 1 Lane Naner Tiao No. 9, the elevator installation project will be implemented in 2019, and the elevator has been completed and put into use for one year.

Shen Gang, director of the Department of Architecture, Taiyuan University of Technology, said that in the future renovation work, the government needs to be more meticulous, people-oriented, and formulate long-term plans, so as to effectively improve residents' satisfaction with the renovation of the community.
