  The Youth Short Film Season on both sides of the Taiwan Strait is a collection of young film works initiated by the Golden Rooster Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Film Festival to tap and cultivate potential young director talents to promote cultural exchanges between films across the Taiwan Strait.

The activity started soliciting in July 2020. As of August 31, a total of more than 500 works from the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas have been collected for effective participation. After layers of selection, "Bull Hunting", "Bathroom Drummer", and "Nine Women" 》And ten other works were selected for the honorary short films.

  According to reports, previously, the directors of the top ten short films also participated in the Golden Rooster Youth Directors Training Camp, face-to-face exchanges and learning with senior instructors in the industry. Eight directors participated in the on-site training and two directors from Taiwan also participated in the course through the Internet. .
