An Egyptian couple was killed on their wedding night

Two Egyptian brides died hours after their wedding, yesterday to Thursday, due to an electric shock, in a phenomenon that has been repeated frequently in my bank recently.

According to the Egyptian website "The Seventh Day," the newlyweds were electrocuted by "an uninsulated wire from the lighting fixtures of the mirror inside the bathroom."

The victims' families stated that the death was due to a short circuit, ruling out the existence of criminal suspicion in the accident.

The deaths of new grooms in bathrooms in Egypt have been frequent over the past years, primarily due to poor construction work and electrical wiring in homes, as the country witnessed at least 4 other similar incidents.
