Police officers involved in beating in Paris will be dismissed

The video shows a man beaten by three police officers in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.

Questioned on the set of France 2, Gérald Darmanin said he would ask for "the dismissal" of the police officers involved in the assault on this music producer.

The Minister of the Interior considered that these police officers "had soiled the uniform of the Republic".

Three of the police officers involved were suspended as a precaution in the afternoon and the Paris police prefect requested the suspension of a fourth, which should be decided by the Director General of the National Police.

The Paris prosecutor's office has also opened an investigation against the officials.
