On the morning of the 26th, in the freezing cold wind, the sun rose in the border town of Manzhouli in China as usual.

Quite "exotic" Manzhouli, the streets are covered in silver, and the buildings stand tall, seem to tell the outside world, "This heroic city is working hard and is working hard to win the battle against the epidemic."

Manzhouli, known as the "Window of East Asia", is adjacent to Russia and Mongolia.

In the past 6 days, the city is being hit by the new crown pneumonia epidemic for the third time.

Previously, this city had the “special experience” of the first confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the import of 77 confirmed cases from abroad.

On November 21, two local cases of new coronary pneumonia were confirmed in the city.

Several local interviewees said: "After hearing the news on the 21st, we were not afraid. Compared with the previous two times, this time we have more experience in coping."

"In the winter of 2020, Manzhouli will become one of the cities most concerned about by Chinese people. It seems that this fascinating land has transformed the vigorous external vitality into internal perseverance and patience..." On the evening of the 25th, local citizen Zhang Peng sent a group of "Ping'an Manzhouli" short videos to the WeChat video account. In just a few hours, more than 30,000 netizens liked and commented.

"Everything will finally settle, safe Manzhouli, everything can be expected." Many netizens were moved by the sentence in the short video. In the comment area, "Come on Manzhouli" became the most frequent blessing.

In fact, the border city of Manzhouli has set a "Manzhouli speed" in the past six days.

At 14:00 on the 22nd, Manzhouli carried out a large-scale nucleic acid test for all residents and corporate employees in the urban area. By 15:00 on the 24th, Manzhouli completed the nucleic acid test and sampling work for all employees, which was completed one day earlier than originally planned.

The official said: "In two and a half days, a total of 203,326 people have been sampled for nucleic acid testing, and this rate is rare in the country."

In this fight against the epidemic, the help of the soldiers in white clothes also gave the city "assuming" and inner "warmth" in the winter.

According to reports, since November 21, more than 200 medical assistance personnel have assembled in Manzhouli.

Bao Dongmei, a medical worker who had participated in the fight against the epidemic in Hubei, said emotionally to the reporter: "This is a war epidemic at home. As medical staff, this is an open-book exam. We must answer well."

"Under the epidemic, a batch of volunteers, they are not afraid of the severe cold and infection in winter, and methodically assisted the medical staff to successfully complete the nucleic acid detection and investigation work of 160,000 people in the city, which injected a warm current into the war epidemic in Manzhouli. "Manzhouli Daily" reporter Wang Huayong said: "Every time I shoot these volunteers, I see their positive and optimistic spirit, and I am inexplicably moved instantly."

"If you have difficulties, never give up." Manzhouli officials believe that this is the "Manzhouli spirit."

What is moving is that in the past few days, when most people fell asleep, including the "retrograde" who transported materials, they were on their way to Manzhouli.

Local citizens believe: "These people who dared to go'retrograde' firmly believe that the sun will rise as usual in Manzhouli, which has been hit by three epidemics, and the smoke and fire will soon be restored here." (End)
