  The report stated that on November 23, a high-level landslide occurred at a non-geological monitoring point in the Dugong Group, Jiapuzi Village, Xuewalong Town (formerly Taka Township), Jiulong County.

At 16:00, the village cadres observed sporadic signs of falling rocks and sands and immediately reported to the local government in accordance with the geological disaster prevention and control plan.

At the same time, in accordance with the usual drills and plans, all 150 people from 41 households were evacuated in an orderly manner within one hour.

The disaster resulted in the obstruction of Tongcun Road (originally from Taka Township to Xiekaong Township Road), damaged more than 400 meters of road, damaged 1 village activity room, 1 village medical station, 1 village kindergarten, and damaged 4 rural houses 24 rooms.

As the landslide blocked the river, more than 10 acres of land was flooded by the rising water level, 8 farm houses entered water (currently unable to enter the house for verification, and the specific economic losses have not yet been counted), and the electricity and communication of the people in the 2 villages above the landslide point were affected.
