[Explanation] November 25th is the 6th day when Peng Hui, the "post-85" online car-hailing driver, enters the Huacheng Community of Tomorrow in Zhoupu Town, Pudong, Shanghai. It is also the day when the community welcomes the second nucleic acid test for all employees.

Peng Hui, who once again put on a red volunteer uniform and a hat printed with "Zhoupu Town Peace Volunteers", got up early in the morning and stepped into the team of volunteers who cooperated with nucleic acid testing services on time. The volunteers he was responsible for that day "Type of work" is the order guide for nucleic acid testing for residents of Building 23 in the community.

At 9:30 pm on November 20th, Peng Hui carried passengers to the designated destination as usual.

Unexpectedly, less than 4 minutes before and after, when he was about to leave the community, he was told that the entire community was immediately closed for management.

In this way, Peng Hui staged a “quick change” of his identity from an online ride-hailing driver, and became a member of the community volunteer team... This Jiangsu guy said that he seemed to have experienced a movie The situation that was only present in the blockbuster, even now I think about it, is still a little trance.

  [Concurrent] Peng Hui

About two to three minutes before and after, I was the first to reach the gate of this community, and then the cordon over there was pulled up, that is to say, I could not go out.

(The whole process) It's more magical.

  reporter

Do you think this process is magical?

  Online ride-hailing driver Peng Hui

  Yes, it is.

Entering (staying in) this community from an indigenous (resident) who is not in this community is also a relatively special experience.

[Explanation] Get up at 7 o'clock every day, and go downstairs at 7:30 to "standby"... For several days, Peng Hui has become a "resident employee" of the neighborhood committee of the Huacheng Community of Tomorrow. From the first night in the car, he barely dealt with it. At present, he stayed temporarily in the "floor shop" on the second floor of the neighborhood committee and insisted that he was unwilling to accept the arrangement of the neighborhood committee to "move the nest."

  [Concurrent] Peng Hui

On the one hand, I get along very harmoniously with the staff of the neighborhood committee, and they are all like my own.

Then I feel that because they are on duty here at night, and if there is anything to do, they can be on call. They are on the first floor and I am on the second floor.

[Explanation] Following the initial copying of identity documents for residents and issuing non-positive nucleic acid test certificates, Peng Hui, who is becoming more familiar with volunteer services, has begun to "accept new orders."

Items are fully disinfected and delivered, canopies are built in communities, and protective fences are set up... Peng Hui's busy figure can be seen everywhere.

Many days of collaborative anti-epidemic volunteer services have also allowed Peng Hui and the volunteers to establish a special "comradeship".

Aunt Feng, a resident of Building 20, who also serves as a volunteer in the neighborhood committee, also expressed her praise for Peng Hui.

  [Concurrent] Resident Aunt Feng

The past few days are really too busy to make friends. Xiao Peng is a really good person. Now he is mingling with the comrades of our neighborhood committee. He will appear wherever he is needed.

Today we are doing nucleic acid testing. He has been maintaining the order of the testing staff since early in the morning.

[Explanation] Peng Hui, who has zero experience in volunteering, is now a "star" volunteer in the Huacheng community tomorrow.

Peng Hui said that while volunteering to serve others, he also received selfless help from everyone, which made him feel "warm."

  [Concurrent] Peng Hui

The residents here including the staff are really concerned about me.

My food and accommodation, when I have no clothes, many people say that I have clothes that are similar to yours (body) at home. I will give it to you. If you need it, I will go back to get it to you.

And last night, a young lady from the community came over and brought a large package of food, fruits, tea, and some special products. I came here to give it to me. I was really touched.

[Explanation] Although the volunteer service during the day is very busy, Peng Hui, who is free at night, makes a video call with his girlfriend Xiao Lei, who was a medical student, every day.

From the initial lack of understanding, Xiao Lei has become the most supportive member of Peng Hui's voluntary work among relatives and friends. Peng Hui said that he is more motivated and responsible to do these volunteer work.

After finishing his work as an order guide for nucleic acid testing on November 25, Peng Hui said that he would soon join other volunteer positions.

When talking about the first thing he most wanted to do after the community was "unblocked", Peng Hui smiled and said that he was very much looking forward to calling the "comrades" of the neighborhood committee to "go out" together.

  [Concurrent] Peng Hui

After the official "unblocking", the first thing I most want to do is to have a good meal with the working "comrades" of the neighborhood committee (community).

We are usually in a hurry when we work. We all eat work meals, and we haven't had a good meal.

I want to have a good meal with them, and renew the friendship at work, the friendship of "comrades in arms".

[Explanation] Although nearly half of the volunteer work in the community is anti-epidemic, Peng Hui believes that in the future, the volunteer service in his life will never stop.

  [Concurrent] Peng Hui

I haven't done this type of (volunteer) work before.

But during the epidemic, I feel that after being a volunteer, I feel that this kind of incident, this kind of experience, including the things I do, is more meaningful.

I think if the "ban" is lifted here, if there is a need for work in this area in the later period, I would be more willing to do this kind of work, or be a volunteer.
