The news that psychology professor Jordan B Peterson is up to date with a new book was not something that all employees at the book publisher Penguin Random House felt comfortable with.

- He is transphobic and an icon of the white power movement.

It does not matter what this particular book is about.

I'm not proud to work for a company that publishes him, says an anonymous employee to Vice world news.

According to the site, employees must have cried and a number of people must have complained about the decision when the book publisher's management met the employees for a meeting where they discussed the choice to publish the book.

Known for his opinions

Jordan B Peterson became known to the public with his bestseller, 12 Rules of Life: An Antidote to Chaos, released in 2018. Among other things, his choice to refuse to use gender-neutral pronouns and opposition to the Canadian law Bill C-16, which provided increased legal protection for trans and non-binary in Canada, attracted attention.

The new book, Beyond Order: 12 New Rules of Life, will be published in March next year.
