World Greenhouse Gas Concentration Highest in Observation History World Meteorological Organization Analysis November 24, 4:27

It was found that the world concentration of three types of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, which cause global warming, was the highest in the history of observation last year.

WMO = World Meteorological Organization analyzed last year's data observed by meteorological authorities and research institutes in each country on the global average concentrations of the three major greenhouse gases.

According to this, carbon dioxide was 410.5ppm, methane was 1877ppb, and nitrous oxide was 332ppb, all of which were higher than those of adults, the highest since 1984 when observations were started all over the world.

In addition, according to the data comparing the average increase over the past 10 years with the increase last year, carbon dioxide increased by 0.23ppm to 2.6ppm, and methane increased by 0.7ppb to 8.0ppb, both of which showed an increase in global warming. It means that the tendency of carbon dioxide is increasing.

The Japan Meteorological Agency, which was involved in the analysis, said, "It is thought that the risk of disasters due to global warming is increasing, and the frequency of heavy rains is also increasing. It is necessary to continue to take measures against warming."
