The Berlin police broke up a big party with more than 50 partying people in a hostel in the Friedrichshain district.
Various drugs such as marijuana, ecstasy and the stimulant speed were found on Sunday afternoon, as announced on Monday.
The police had been alerted by an observer to a property on Markgrafendamm.
There she initially met 36 people during a political discussion.
Because everyone adhered to the Corona rules, they were able to continue the debate.
Then the police noticed the party in the neighboring hostel.
The 52 participants therefore neither wore masks nor kept their distance.
The police established all personal details and found the drugs and various medications during the search.
The party was broken up, some participants could stay in the hostel because they lived there.
It was initially unclear whether the party had been running since Saturday.
