On Monday, November 23, the comedy series "Rodkom" will be released on the STS TV channel.

It was staged by Maria Kravchenko, who shot such projects as "Girls Don't Give Up" and "Breakfast at Dad's."

Dmitry Belavin (Dyldy), Ilya Livtinenko (Kitchen. War for the Hotel), Ivan Zabegaev (Voronin) and other authors worked on the script.

Among the producers are Vyacheslav Murugov and Fyodor Bondarchuk.

The premiere of Rodkom took place in September 2019 at the Pilot TV series festival, where the project was awarded the Audience Award.

The events of the series unfold around Sergei Shmelev, the hero of the star of "Kitchen" Viktor Khorinak.

Sergey's life is not easy: the salary is delayed, the son is a hooligan and his wife, it turns out, is cheating.

Having learned about the betrayal, Sergei takes the child and leaves with him to a friend.

This is not the end of Shmelev's ordeals: his wife threatens to take her son (and has every chance of doing so).

In addition, the father hardly ever raised the child, which now also plays against him.

Sergei arranges for his son in a new school, his own alma mater, and decides to join the parent committee - in order from now on to take the most active part in the child's life.

But even here life is preparing a surprise for him.

During his school years, Shmelev Sr. loved to misbehave and constantly spoiled the life of both teachers and peers.

Among the most offended was the classmate Sveta Surkova, who grew up, turned into a beautiful, confident woman (played by Olga Lerman), got married, became a mother and now heads this very parental committee.

The main character will have to make a lot of efforts to earn the trust of negative mothers against him, and then plunge into the active and in his own way cheerful life of the committee.

The main characters in the series are pretty stereotyped.

According to the plot, a self-confident and impudent main character, a glamorous "yazhmat" (Ekaterina Kuznetsova), as well as a woman with a difficult life (Anastasia Imamova), who barely supports her family and copes with raising her son, is sitting in the parent committee.

The only thing missing is a single mother with increased libido, but it is possible that she will appear in the next series.

The set of children's characters in the series is also standard.

Slightly more interesting is the main character, who at first showed himself to be a daring hysterical, and then instantly transformed into an ordinary dad, dreaming of becoming a good parent.

Viktor Horinyak managed to harmoniously fit into the image and convincingly play a comical and carefree, but at the same time very loving father, ready to change for the sake of the child.

By the way, judging by the first episode, other parents do not show similar traits: for some reason, personal scores are more important for them.

The plot of the series can hardly be called original either.

Already from the name it is clear that the main events revolve around the activities of the committee.

At the same time, the life and problems of modern mothers outside the school are practically not revealed on the screen.

At first, one even gets the impression that apart from collecting gossip and discussing excursions, they are not doing anything - otherwise how to explain their readiness to get together in the middle of the day at the first call?

The main advantage of "Rodkom" is a well-aimed and vital humor, which permeates almost all scenes.

The characters of the series constantly find themselves in comical and at the same time recognizable situations.

However, comedy will most likely be fully appreciated only by parents who face similar tasks and problems on a daily basis.

This series has little chance of catching an outside observer: those who are not devoted to the difficulties of educating modern schoolchildren will hardly find Rodkom fascinating.

At the same time, the series is a bit captivating with its lightness and naivety.

From the beginning you don't expect a twisted plot, as well as a thoughtful and deep drama from him.

Funny and cute in its own way, "Rodkom" is intended not for the analysis of various kinds of problems and complex characters, but for a relaxed and positive pastime.
