"The nation in the eyes of the youth": an art competition on the National Day
The Abu Dhabi Art Foundation organizes its qualitative and new competition under the slogan "The homeland in the eyes of the youth", with its participation in the state's celebrations of the 49th National Day. This competition was launched early last week and invited all creative students from different parts of the UAE to participate in any artwork that could include a painting Art, a piece of sculpture, a short film, photographs, a piece of poetry, or a work of music.
The national competition will continue until November 30, 2020, after which all entries will be presented to a panel of experts from the Abu Dhabi Art Foundation in preparation for announcing the names of the winners.
Dr. Hamid bin Muhammad Khalifa Al Suwaidi, founder and chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Abu Dhabi Art Foundation, said: “The organization of this competition comes to express our pride and pride in the UAE’s achievements since the establishment of the Union until today, and our adherence to the principles and values on which we were raised and which our country is keen on, as it represents An inspiring and unique global civilization model based on the values of humanity, tolerance and coexistence with the other ».
He also added, "The Foundation aims to unite its vision with the visions of the leaders of the Emirates and its people in celebrating this precious national occasion, which is the occasion of the National Day for the establishment of the Emirates."
Hamed Al-Suwaidi stressed, "Through this competition, we seek to develop students' various artistic talents, stimulate their creative energies, refine their senses, and direct them to express joy at the arrival of this important national occasion that embodies the meanings of love and loyalty to this generous nation."
