There will be a large-scale rain and snow cooling process in the central and eastern regions

  From the 20th to the 22nd, affected by the cold air, there will be a large-scale rain and snow cooling process in the central and eastern regions.

It is expected that from 08:00 on November 20th to 08:00 on November 22nd, 4~8℃ cooling will occur in eastern Xinjiang, most of Northwestern China, northern Northeast China, western and northern North China, Jianghan, eastern Southwest, and central and western Jiangnan. Among them, the local temperature drop in western Inner Mongolia, northern Shaanxi and other places can reach more than 10℃.

The above areas are accompanied by northerly winds of magnitude 4 to 6 and gusts of magnitude 7 to 9 (see Figure 1).

The Central Meteorological Observatory will continue to release the forecast of strong wind cooling at 06:00 on November 20.

  Affected by the cold air, from the 20th to the 22nd, there were light to moderate rains in the eastern part of Southwest China, southern Huanghuai, Jianghan, Jianghuai, Jiangnan, and southern China. Among them, there were heavy rains in the northwest of Jiangnan and Jianghuai; eastern Northwestern and western Sichuan There are light to moderate snow or sleet in the northern plateau, northern China, and central and southern parts of Northeast China. Among them, there are heavy snow or heavy snow in the southeastern part of Northwest China and western North China.

  Among them, from 08:00 on November 20 to 08:00 on the 21st, there was heavy snow in some areas south of the Inner Mongolia Loop, northern Shaanxi, eastern Gansu, Ningxia, central Shanxi, high-altitude areas in western Xinjiang, and eastern Heilongjiang. The newly added snow depth in the above areas is 4-8 cm, and the local area is more than 12 cm (see Figure 2).

Specific forecast for the next three days

There was light to moderate rain in central and western Huanghuai, western Jianghuai, Jianghan, eastern Southwest, Jiangnan, and southern China.

There are 5-7 winds in eastern Xinjiang, western Inner Mongolia, Gansu, southern Qinghai, and northern Tibet.

There were moderate to heavy rains in most parts of Jianghuai, eastern Jianghan, eastern Guizhou, eastern Chongqing, central and western Jiangnan, and Taiwan Island. Among them, there was heavy rain (50-60 mm) in the eastern part of Taiwan Island.

  From 08:00 on November 22 to 08:00 on November 23, there were light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of northwestern Heilongjiang, western Xinjiang, eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, eastern Northwestern and northern Southwestern China. Among them, Gansu There is heavy snow (5-9 mm) in the south, southern Shaanxi and other places.

There were light to moderate rains in parts of western Huanghuai, most of Jianghuai, Jianghan, Jiangnan, eastern and southern Southwest China, central and western South China, Hainan Island and other places. Among them, there were heavy rains in northwestern Yunnan and other places (25-28 Mm).

There are 4 to 6 winds in parts of north central China, western Huanghuai, Jianghan, eastern Jianghuai, central and northern Jiangnan (see Figure 5).

Blizzard "attacked" Northeast and Inner Mongolia and other places yesterday

  Affected by the unusually strong warm and humid air currents during the same period in previous years, the Northeast and Inner Mongolia experienced rain, snow, and gale on the 19th. Heilongjiang issued 36 blizzard warning signals in a row, Inner Mongolia issued a blizzard red warning signal, and Jilin Province issued a blizzard orange warning signal.

  The areas involved in the heavy snowstorm in Inner Mongolia were mainly concentrated in Tongliao and Chifeng areas.

Most primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the two places have suspended classes, some mining companies have suspended work, some units have power outages, and some citizens have chosen to walk to work.

  In Heilongjiang, the local area issued 36 blizzard warning signals on the 19th.

Due to heavy snow, Harbin Taiping International Airport was temporarily closed from 19:00 on the 19th to 6:00 on the 20th.

The Office of the Heilongjiang Provincial Disaster Reduction Committee and the Office of the Heilongjiang Provincial Work Safety Committee jointly issued an emergency notice on the 19th, requesting the relevant departments of the province to take effective measures to prevent and reduce disasters.

Some areas of Heilongjiang also experienced rare freezing rain. Outdoor vegetation and objects were covered with a layer of "ice armor", like diamonds, crystal clear.

Freezing rain and blizzard continue to ravage Jilin to deal with extreme weather

  Jilin, a northeastern province that suffered from rare freezing rain and blizzard disasters, still suffered heavy snow on the night of the 19th, and the disaster continued to develop.

The Jilin Provincial Meteorological Observatory stated that there will still be blizzards or heavy snowfalls in the northern part of the province in the future.

  As of 14:00 on the 19th, 110 66-kV lines, 719 10-kV lines and more than 26,300 stations in Jilin Province were out of service, resulting in a power outage of 1,024,400 households.

  At present, highways in Jilin Province are fully closed, and most passenger and tourist chartered buses are suspended. Domestic railway transportation has been suspended for 201 trains and 18 trains have been changed. Changchun Airport is still closed, but ordinary national and provincial trunk lines The road is not closed to traffic.

  Due to the damage to the transmission line, the communication service base station was interrupted 9703 times due to local power failures in many places in Jilin Province, which has a certain degree of impact on mobile phone calls and Internet access in some areas.
