Chinanews.com, Beijing, November 20 (Reporter Du Yan) The Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission stated today that in the first half of 2021, Beijing Rail Transit Line 1 and Batong Line will be fully operational.

In order to achieve this goal, from November 24 (Tuesday) to November 28 (Saturday), Sihui Station on the Batong Line will be suspended all day, and construction will be carried out in coordination with the track and supporting signal, power supply, and communication professionals. Passengers should plan travel routes in advance and arrange travel time reasonably.

Beijing Rail Transit Line 1 and the Batong Line are divided into two phases. The first phase of the construction and renovation has been completed during the "November" holiday this year, and the construction is the second phase.

In order to minimize the impact on line operation, the transportation department has repeatedly demonstrated and finally decided to stop operation of Sihui Station on Batong Line from November 24 (Tuesday) to 28 (Saturday) (Line 1 Sihui Station is normal Operation) and stop transferring with Line 1. The operating section is adjusted from Sihui East Station to Huazhuang Station. Passengers on Batong Line can transfer to Line 1 at Sihui East Station.

Starting from the first train on November 29 (Sunday), Sihui Station on the Batong Line will resume normal operations.

During the shutdown of Sihui Station on the Batong Line, the Beijing Metro Corporation will pay close attention to changes in passenger flow on Line 1, Batong Line and other lines, and add temporary passengers at appropriate times to meet passenger travel needs.

At the same time, organize platform boarding and landing at each station along the line, strengthen publicity and guidance, and ensure smooth travel of passengers.

According to reports, Beijing Public Transport Group will provide targeted ground public transport protection.

Measures such as the operation of inter-regional buses and express trains will be adopted for the lines 322, 475, 666, 668, and 806 that pass along the Jingtong Express Line to increase transportation capacity and speed up vehicle turnover.

At the same time, 10 vehicles were arranged at the Sihui Bus Hub to prepare for emergency evacuation of large passenger flows at subway stations.

The transportation department reminded passengers to plan travel routes early, arrange travel time reasonably, and follow the instructions of on-site staff to travel safely.
