On the afternoon of November 18, Yu Huan’s attorney Yin Qingli and Yu Huan’s family told reporters from the Beijing News that Yu Huan had reduced his sentence and was released from prison to go home early.
The Beijing News previously reported that on April 14, 2016, female entrepreneur Su Yinxia and her son Yu Huan in Guanxian County, Liaocheng, Shandong were harassed by debt collection teams. The debt collectors insulted and insulted Su Yinxia. Yu Huan used one after witnessing her mother being insulted. The fruit knife stabbed indiscriminately, causing four debt collectors including Du Zhihao to be injured. After that, Du Zhihao died of hemorrhagic shock due to his failure to seek medical attention.

On May 27, 2017, the second instance of the case was publicly heard. The Shandong Higher People’s Court found that Yu Huan was overly defensive and constituted the crime of intentional injury and sentenced Huan to 5 years in prison.
