  Regret breaking the law

Beijing News: When did you get home?

Yu Huan: The court opened on the morning of the 18th. He was sentenced and released. He arrived home at about 11 am that day.

Beijing News: What do you think of your actions four years ago?

Yu Huan: Looking at the words at the time now, I feel a little impulsive at the time. My actions have brought casualties and pains to the victim and his family, which are irreparable.

Regret for breaking the law, which is costly.

On my mother's side, I just ask her not to blame me.

The Beijing News: After the media reported the matter, it attracted national attention. When did you know that your own affairs have such a degree of attention?

Yu Huan: When the lawyer came to the detention center to meet with me, he brought me the attention of the media and netizens. I felt that it might not be possible, and I didn't believe it.

The Beijing News: What do you think of Wu Xuezhan's criminal gang and those debt collectors?

Yu Huan: In the past few years, the country has made great efforts to crack down on criminals and evil. If a person has been doing illegal things, it will certainly not last long.

But even though they were at fault, my approach was still a bit heavy and caused so much harm.

Beijing News: What do you think about changing your sentence from life imprisonment to five years imprisonment?

Yu Huan: I was really ashamed when I was sentenced to indefinitely. Changing the sentence to five years is a huge change. I can return home when I am young and make contributions to my home.

Thank you for the policies of the party and the country, and thank you for the media reports and the continued attention of the majority of netizens. Without you, I might not be able to sit here and say these things.

Thanks for the soundness of the law

Beijing News: How is your life in prison?

Yu Huan: I also take a rest and work, which is very fulfilling overall.

I miss my family, I also want to be free as soon as possible, and I want to live a free life.

My performance in prison was fairly good. Originally, my sentence was completed on April 14, 2021, and my sentence was reduced by more than 4 months.

The Beijing News: I wrote a lot of letters to my family in prison?

Yu Huan: Yes, I could only chat with my family through letters at that time.

Beijing News: Have you ever thought about what you will do after you come out?

  Yu Huan: Thank you family.

Beijing News: Like to read novels in prison?

Yu Huan: After reading Anai's novel "Big River", I feel that when I read the novel, I can bring myself into another environment and perspective, temporarily forgetting my identity in prison and letting me go.

The Beijing News: I heard that you have also taken a nutrition qualification certificate while in prison?

Yu Huan: Yes, in a few days, I will try to match the food for my mother.

Because I just stepped into society before losing my freedom, and I didn’t understand many things. This time I also want to learn more as soon as possible and make a little contribution to my family and personal.

Beijing News: What plans do you have when you go home?

Yu Huan: I didn't know many things when I got home. I wanted to get familiar with it first, adapt to the environment, and then make a decision based on my own situation.

I'm not in a hurry to work for the time being, it's going to be the Chinese New Year soon.

Beijing News: Do you feel the changes in society?

Yu Huan: It has changed a lot. There are more high-rise buildings in the county, and the traffic volume has increased. It has changed a lot from the county I knew before. It feels that the urbanization process has accelerated.

In life, although I have smart phones and WeChat, I use cash more. Now I use Alipay and WeChat to pay for food. After seeing it, I still think it’s good. I also want to get familiar with the environment and the information society as soon as possible. .

Beijing News: Is there anything you want to say to everyone?

Yu Huan: Thank you for the soundness of the country, the government and the law. If the five-year judgment is not made, I would not be sitting here today to thank media friends and netizens.

In the future, I want to do my best to spread positive energy and contribute to society.
