Keio Electric Railway To advance the last train time next spring Up to 30 minutes on two lines November 18, 17:59

Due to the deterioration of business performance due to the influence of the new coronavirus, the number of railway companies that are moving up the last train is increasing, and the number of late-night passengers of the major private railway company "Keio Electric Railway" is decreasing. Announced that it will be advanced by about 30 minutes.

The time of the last train will be advanced on two lines, the Keio Line and the Keio Inokashira Line, which will be implemented in line with the timetable revision next spring.

Of these, the Keio Line going down from Shinjuku is about 15 to 20 minutes, and going up to Shinjuku is about 15 to 30 minutes.

Also, the descent to Kichijoji on the Keio Inokashira Line is about 15 to 20 minutes faster, and the ascent to Shibuya is about 15 minutes faster.

On the other hand, the Keio Line's Racecourse Line and Zoo Line do not advance the last train.

Regarding the reason for the advance, the company will carry out maintenance and inspection of the track after the last train, as well as the fact that the number of passengers at midnight in September has decreased by 47% from the same month last year due to the influence of the new coronavirus. It mentions improving the working environment of workers.

In the Tokyo metropolitan area, JR East, Seibu Railway, and Tokyu have decided to advance the time of the last train next spring.
