The terms of the UK's exit from the EU are still being negotiated and fishing is a major sticking point.

Belgian fishermen are very worried because Brexit could have serious consequences on their activities.

The vast majority of them fish in British waters, which are particularly rich in fish.

If these areas are closed to them or their access limited after January 1, the Belgian fishing industry would lose more than half of its income.
